Actor Kevin Kline, of “A Fish Called Wanda” and “Dave” fame, made an appearance in Somerville, Mass., last night to promote his latest film, “The Extra Man,” at the Independent Film Festival Boston. According to the synopsis, the story revolves around Kline teaching a young, former high school teacher how to be a male escort.
Either way, Kline was pretty low key and super chill at his appearance, opting to keep a low profile as he arrived to accept a special achievement award from the Film Festival. I was there to get some pictures for the Herald.

May I present to you, the guy who put the D in a B.
2.5.2010 — CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Justin Timberlake shows off Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theater's 2010 Man of the Year award on Feb. 5, 2010.
Nothing fancy. A select press pool was allowed to photograph the roasting and awards presentation for the Hasty Pudding Theater’s Man of the Year at Harvard University, who just so happened to be Mr. Sexy’s Back, Justin Timberlake.
I was not part of that press pool, but I’m sure the whole thing will be on YouTube soon enough.
This photo is pretty much the only one without him sitting at a table. Them’s the breaks.
And for the record, Justin Timberlake is a weird-lookin’ dude in person.
I guess it was only a matter of time before I got caught up in all this Twilight hoopla. One of the agencies that represents some of my work called me last night to check out a publicity appearance at the Natick Collection Mall from actor Kellen Lutz, who plays one of the vampire dudes in the Twilight movies. To say the least, for all you pale white guys of America, your time has come!
Thousands of tween girls screaming at the tops of their lungs, crying after getting a high five from some pale white guy — all the hysteria you’d expect from the latest fad, I guess.

Talk about an insanely busy day… Started out with a job interview, then right as I was finished with that, I get a last-minute call from the Boston Herald to work yesterday. Scramble home to change out of my suit, head into the office, and then get hit back-to-back-to-back-to-back with four assignments!
It’s real good to stay busy, so here’s hoping for some momentum this month!
Day started off with quickie portrait of this nice couple who moved into their new digs in Fenway on Saturday and were still unpacking. I guess they got a sweet deal.
FYI, I think everyone should have orange walls.
10.6.2009 — BOSTON — Cornell and Cristina Hofman moved into their apartment in the Fenway Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, after moving from Chicago. They were able to find their apartment for a relatively inexpensive price, which is a bonus for Cristina, who is starting an orthopedic residency at Mass General Hospital.
Followed that up immediately after by heading down the street to the Boston Academy of the Arts, where the STOMP performance group was holding a master class, teaching the students about their beats and proper etiquette for auditions (the students failed miserably at that one!).
10.6.2009 — BOSTON — Stomp performer Elec Brown, center in black, cheers on his students, Felix Negron, left, and Juan Ortiz, right, during a dance master class the performance troupe was hosting at the Boston Academy of the Arts high school on October 6, 2009. The dance troupe spent an hour teaching the students how to use their whole body as a percussion instrument, showing them their trademark beats and rhythm steps.

And finally, capped the evening with the Ex-Mr. Jessica Simpson himself, Nick Lachey, who was in town as part of a tour to raise awareness for local food banks and a nationwide hunger charity.
